A Herald with her Companion in dress grab and tack. From the Heralds of Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey. The characters are original and my own design. Anybody want to write a back story for these two?

This was me trying as hard as I can to draw a human decently AND design clothing, neither of which I’m very good at, so sorry for the rather generic pose.

Edit:Changed her face slightly and increased the resolution so it didn't look so funny, the highlight in her lip made her look like she had buck teeth because of the jPeg artifact, hopefully looks better now.

They look all princessy. XD I love it. I'm half tempted to scribble something of a backstory up for them. *Chuckles* But I'm afraid I'd make the girl a snob. I read that book a long time ago... or at least long for me. =O It was really good, this makes me wanna go to the library and find it again. X3;
