And I probably said too much there!
Anyways some further babbling about design and concept, Woden’s markings are ephemeral and changing, fairy runes that are full of magic and may never appear the same way twice. Just attempting to look at them and they will defy perception. Neela’s wings don’t actually exist in a physical sense in most realms, only becoming fully real in the land of Faery, but in certain light and when the weave between worlds is thin, they may shine through in other realms as well.

Is there somewhere where I can read a comic? I am intrigued by this story, I would love to know more.
You have an exquisite art style!
Love the fact the big dark cervine creature is named "Woden". Very cool character design.
As well, he reminds me a wee bit of a figure in Saami Mythology so maybe one reason why I'm very partial to him, other than the fact that this is some lovely artwork here.
Good question! Wish I knew the answer! Ha! But yeah, that’s just something I always guess at really. Basic guidelines is that children/fawns have larger head sizes in comparison to their bodies then adults. Still often a difficult thing to judge with a fantasy creature I’d say.
Ah thanks so much, can’t take complete ownership of that though, mythology about the Fae and about The Wild Hunt I can never own, I just warp it to my own purposes as I see fit.
Ah thank you so much! I really worry that I’m just boring people with my “stories” so it means a lot that people are interested in them. Doubt I’ll ever write any kind of novel, I’m admittedly a poor writer, just batter my way through some somewhat acceptable RP when I can.
Thank you! And yes, I know human faced animals are just hard for the human eye to accept a lot of times. I’m so used to them I forget how hard that can be to get past at first. They are especially challenging to draw too!
