and I love him!! I totally love your take on the Hyksi species; their creator often says that she likes having them open to everyone's interpretation and seeing what each person brings to them, and you're certainly doing that - the deer in him is much stronger than how I draw them which is really cool. and same with the antlers - that is such an awesome shape, I might just have to steal the extra flourishes from you >.>; Papy looks so regal and wise, just how I see him

and that background is cool too, I love the interesting lighting choice with the soft purples and browns. it's like... morningtime. especially with the trees all silhouetted like that and the sunbeam and all. eeee.

I know, I said it would be a long time but I had sudden opportunity so I took it. I’m so glad you like him! I tried to bring out more Lagamorph in him but the Cervid kept overruling! Especially in that pose. So glad you like the antlers too, I kind of did my own thing with them, heh. Cool creation, very fun to draw.

And take your time with SoftWing, no hurry!

All that comes to mind is Jackelope. But the feet ARE totally awesome.

Very cool! I like the feet too. And the markings down his side! The antlers seem a little curvy to me, but I assumed that was the intent. Still, great work!
