Deviations in Storage-Trapped now forever?

I recently put my gallery in storage because of art theft issues.  Later I removed a few pieces and put them back in my main gallery.  When I decided to unstore more images at a later date…I found I was unable to.  I sent a ticket to the Help Desk and they said this is a known bug and “they are working on it.”  I’ve found complaints of this bug going back several years so I guess they have yet to fix it or it’s just not that big a priority for them or something.

I find it a huge loss however.  I’ve used this account actively for 12 years now, and had a subscription most of that time.  The fact that most of my art is gone is a pretty big “glitch.”  Reuploading 12 years worth of images is not  feasible.  This is all a bit devastating.

 

So as a warning to others.  Think twice before storing your gallery.  You might as well have deleted it.

The staff of dA is infamous for not being helpful, especially as of late. It's as if they stopped caring about most deviants or calls for help. They mostly deal with shoveling money together now. And pointless updates to this site that, most of the time, aren't even necessary.

Enough about my hate on the staff for now, but honestly, they do play a part of fault in here. Re-uploading 12 years worth of images is definitely out of the question, but I do hope that the dA staff, for once, gets up on their butts and starts fixing or at least UPDATING the weird art storage method. Honestly, you're not the only one who has experienced this kind of deviation loss with that storage option as well. I've heard many other complaints, and it's really sad.
