Alright, I’ve been trying to capture this on video for a while now, Olive, my French Bulldog does this all the time but never when I have the camera handy. It’s been a long time since I inflicted Olive videos on you so don’t complain!
[link]This first one shows her dragging her belly back and forth on the carpet. The first time I saw her doing this she was outside by the fence and I about had a heart attack because I thought she had broke her back or something. Nope, she just thinks it’s fun! Her favorite time to do this is first thing in the morning when she gets out of bed.
[link]And this is her famous butt drag. It’s real classy when she follows this up by smelling the carpet where she just dragged her butt. She’s high class I tell ya!
Edit: Just wanted to add a note. I’m a veterinarian and I take good care for my dogs. They don’t have worms and I regularly express their anal glands myself. Olive scoots because she likes it not because of any health issue that’s not being addressed. Don’t worry!
