Today was super fun. It started with a breakfast of super yummy blueberry muffins, coffee and thick cut hickory smoked bacon. Mmmm.
Then we went to the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallion show. I've wanted to see the Lipizzaners since I was a little girl. I brought my Nikon DS90 and managed to get some really great shots at the show. Unfortunately the only shots of the horses performing their rearing maneuvers turned out blurry and out of focus. During the latter part of the show we moved further back and I used the long lens, those shots turned out a lot better and with amazing detail and clarity.
The rest of the pictures of the show are here:
[link]Feel free to use these photos for reference in your art or photomanips. No, you don't have to link me or give me credit or grovel at my feet to use them or paste all over the image that you used a reference photo. I don't care. I'd like to see what people do with them but I if you don't let me know that's okay too. Being anal retentive and all restrictive over blurry photo stock is just dumb, but don't get me going about that!
Now I'm going to sit back with my Arnold Palmer (Iced tea with vodka and lemonade) and watch Primeval. We also have a nice thunder storm brewing outside, I love the warm humid air right now.
In Europa there is also a very famous Lipizzaner stallion show: Spanische Hofreitschule (I don't know how to translate it) [link]
I just saw some of their shows on TV, but never have been there. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see these beautiful horses performing their show live
